Summary of Committee Charge
The primary responsibility of the Committee on Publications (CPub) is to keep itself informed on matters of scholarly publishing and the AMS publishing program, including books, research journals and member publications (Bulletin, Notices, and Abstracts). When appropriate, the Committee should recommend to Council changes in policy or other actions that may support and improve the AMS publication program and scholarly publishing more generally. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Publishing Policy
The AMS AI Advisory Group has developed and shared white papers summarizing current issues of importance for most of our policy committees. These are intended as living documents to be updated regularly with resources and guidance by the respective committees. Next Meeting
The next committee meeting will be held on October 25-26, 2024 (Friday-Saturday) at the AMS Headquarters in Providence, RI.
