Thomas S. Fiske Society

For many people whose life-long passion is mathematics, a planned estate gift is a fitting expression of their pursuits and dedication.

The Thomas S. Fiske Society celebrates individuals who have included a gift to the American Mathematical Society in their will, living trust, life insurance policy, retirement plan, or other bequest.

Since the Society's first bequest from mathematician, physicist, and suffragette Marion Reilly in 1929, estate gifts have enabled the AMS to serve the mathematics community in distinct ways. The Steele Prizes, Trjitzinsky Awards and more were all made possible by mathematics supporters who, like the Society's founder, Thomas S. Fiske, have had a far-reaching commitment to mathematics.

Thomas S. Fiske Society members receive public recognition in the AMS Contributor List in Notices, the Annual Report and on the AMS website.  The AMS is also pleased to honor them with a Fiske Society memento, special mailings and invitations to key AMS events.
