University of Kansas to Host Mathematics Meeting

PROVIDENCE, RI – The University of Kansas will host the Spring Central Section Meeting of the American Mathematical Society, March 30 and 31. Approximately 250 mathematicians from 36 states and 23 countries will gather at the University to present latest findings of their research. Among these presentations will be talks from ten members of the University’s Department of Mathematics. In addition, eight members of the Department of Mathematics faculty have organized sessions on seven different areas of research.
