PROVIDENCE, RI: The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will host the Fall Southeastern Section Meeting of the American Mathematical Society, October 5 and 6. More than 200 mathematicians from 35 states and 26 countries will gather at the University to present results of their research.

Among the presentations will be five describing work done by four members of the University’s Department of Mathematics. In addition, six members of the Department of Mathematics faculty have organized sessions on four different areas of research. See program.
