1:30 PM - 3:00 PM Henry Warchall, DMS representative from the VIGRE Management Team, will provide an overview of the goals and implementation of the VIGRE program, followed by a question and answer period.

4:50 PM - 5:10 PM Special presentation by Chris Golde, Senior Scholar, Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, on the foundation's Initiative on the Doctorate. The study is focusing on just six disciplines, one of which is mathematics.
5:10 PM - 5:30 PM Special presentation by Kathleen Bergin from the Education and Human Resources Directorate at NSF on the recently established Mathematical and Science Partnerships Program.
