| Annales Scientifiques de l'Ecole Normale Supérieure was founded in 1864 by Louis Pasteur. The journal dealt with subjects touching on physics, chemistry, and the natural sciences. Around the turn of the century, it was decided that the journal should be devoted to mathematics. Today, the journal is open to all fields of mathematics. The Editorial Board, with the help of referees, selects articles which are mathematically very substantial. The journal continues to maintain a tradition of clarity and rigour in its exposition. Annales Scientifiques de l'Ecole Normale Supérieure is published by the Société Mathématique de France (Marseille) and distributed by the AMS in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Printed format. Individual SMF members are entitled to a discounted price; please note your SMF membership in the Comment box of the AMS Bookstore electronic order form to ensure proper pricing. |
