| The Revue d'Histoire des Mathématiques publishes original papers (in French or in English) devoted to the history of mathematics, from antiquity to the present. The Revue welcomes manuscripts dealing with the development of the mathematical sciences proper as well as papers having relationships to other disciplines or on the institutional, cultural, and social contexts. The ambition of the Revue is to serve the historians of mathematics' international community by offering a forum of critical debate, open to the historiographic essays and programmatic contributions. Beyond the professional community, the Revue is addressed to mathematicians, historians and philosophers of science, sociologists, anthropologists, and to all those interested in understanding mathematics and its development. There are two issues per year. Revue d'Histoire des Mathématiques is published by the Société Mathématique de France (Marseille) and distributed by the AMS in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Print format. Individual SMF members are entitled to a discounted price; please note your SMF membership in the Comment box of the AMS Bookstore electronic order form to ensure proper pricing. |
