Form for Suggesting Members for AMS Committees

This form should be used to suggest yourself or a colleague as a potential appointee to a specific AMS committee. For reference, here's a list of AMS committees, which happens to show who is currently serving.

There is a different procedure for nominating an individual for any elected office (for instance, the Council); visit the AMS Governance page for further information.

Committee appointments are made by the President of the Society, who is advised by the Committee on Committees. Your suggestion will be forwarded to the committee during the next cycle of new appointments, which typically happens each Spring/Summer for appointments scheduled to begin February 1 of the following year. If an actual appointment results from this suggestion, it may be a year or more from now.

Items marked by an asterisk * are required.
