Established in 2012, AMS Student Chapters provide support for mathematics students to pursue programming essential to their needs. Each chapter receives $500 a year, with which they can fund opportunities such as bringing in guest speakers, holding forums with faculty from related disciplines, and more.

Your gift to Graduate Student Chapters strengthens mathematics studies in an immediate way, at a growing list of over forty institutions.

In one year, Arizona State's chapter used their grant for:

- Python programming workshop
- First annual poster conference
- Joint seminar with Mathematical Biology club
- Joint seminar with Computational Mathematics
- Pre-screening of
