Advocating at the federal level for the mathematical sciences

The AMS Office of Government Relations is at the center of AMS science policy and advocacy efforts to ensure sustainable, healthy growth for science research and education. We push for federal support of research and policies to support mathematicians and our students in meetings with Congressional representatives, through endorsing legislation, and by writing statements and correspondence sent by the AMS and through our coalition partners.
