AMS Association Resource Group (ARG)
for Revision of NCTM Standards in Mathematics

 
 

The American Mathematical Society's Association Resource Group (ARG) is a subcommittee of the Committee on Education. Chaired by John Polking (Rice University), formerly chaired by Roger Howe (Yale University), it is charged with representing the AMS to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) in its revision of the 1989 NCTM Standards, referred to as "NCTM2000".

NCTM Principles and Standards for School Mathematics released April 2000.
