Supplement to

ON THE BETA EXPANSION

FOR SALEM NUMBERS OF DEGREE 6

DAVID W. BOYD

This supplement contains the two tables described in
§3. Table 1 contains a list of all quintuples
$(a,b,c,m,p)$ where $P(x)=x^6+ax^5+bx^4+cx^3+bx^2+1+1$
is the minimal polynomial of a Salem number $\beta$ of degree 6 and
$\operatorname{trace}(\beta)=-a\le 5$. The preperiod $m$ and the period
$p$ of the beta expansion for $\beta$ are listed in Table 1 if they satisfy
$m<10000$ and $p<10000$.\par Table 2 contains a list of
$(a,b,c,m,p)$ for $\operatorname{trace}(\beta)\le10$ provided
$\min(m,p)\ge10000$.
This includes 18 values for which only a lower bound on $D=m+p$ is known.
