Note to authors
Memoirs differs from other AMS journals in several respects:
- Each Memoir is formatted like a monograph, using a monograph document style.
- In Memoirs, unlike other monographs, an abstract
page following the table of contents includes the abstract,
subject classifications, keywords, acknowledgments
of support, and date received by the editor. This page
arrangement is built into the Memoirs author packages,
and the templates include all necessary tags and instructions.
- Memoirs are author-prepared. The author is expected
to submit .tex, .dvi and .eps (graphics) files.
- The .dvi file is processed for printing exactly as
the author submits it, without editing; if the files
as submitted do not match the required page dimensions
or include a proper abstract page, the author will
be asked to fix them and resubmit.
- Memoirs are not posted on-line.
