A new proof concerning quasi-tilted algebras

Abstract:

Let $\Lambda$ be a quasi-tilted algebra. If $\Lambda$ is representation-finite, it was shown by Happel, Reiten, and Smalø that $\Lambda$ is tilted. We provide a new, short proof of this result.
