Abstract: Let $ L$ be a selfadjoint operator with a closed range in a Hilbert space $ H$ and let $ \psi $ be a differentiable convex function on $ H$. Under a nonresonance assumption, we prove that the range of $ L + \partial \psi $ is dense in $ H$.
