Abstract:

A parametrized family of non-Kähler almost Kähler manifolds is constructed as the product of solvable Lie groups with almost cosymplectic structures. A family of compact strictly almost Kähler manifolds whose cohomology is consistent with that of Kähler manifolds is similarly obtained.
