Abstract: A CS set is a certain type of stratified metric space. The structure of a CS set which is a generalized $ n$-manifold is determined. A class of cell-like mappings between CS sets is defined, and it is shown that such a cell-like mapping with manifold image $ {M^n}$, $ n \ne 4$, is approximable by homeomorphisms.
