Tate cohomology of periodic $K$-theory with reality is trivial

Abstract:

We calculate the $RO(\mathbb {Z}/2)$-graded spectrum for Atiyah’s periodic $K$-theory with reality and the Tate cohomology associated to it. The latter is shown to be trivial.
