A noncommutative version of the John-Nirenberg theorem

Abstract:
We prove a noncommutative version of the John-Nirenberg theorem for nontracial filtrations of von Neumann algebras. As an application, we obtain an analogue of the classical large deviation inequality for elements of the associated $BMO$ space.References
