About the Survey
Since 1957, the Annual Survey of the Mathematical Sciences collects information each year from departments in the mathematical sciences at four-year colleges and universities in the United States. The data collected provides invaluable information to the mathematical sciences community.
The Annual Survey is jointly sponsored by the American Mathematical Society (AMS), the American Statistical Association (ASA), the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS), the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). It is conducted and maintained by the American Mathematical Society.
