AMS Career Fair at the Joint Mathematics Meetings

Join us every January at JMM to connect in-person with academic employers and employers in Business, Entrepreneurship, Government, Industry, and Nonprofit (BEGIN) sectors. For Employers

At the Career Fair, employers can connect with hundreds of potential candidates with advanced training in the mathematical sciences. Both academic and non-academic employers can showcase career opportunities to jobseekers who are ready to network and innovate.

Pre-JMM, employers will gain access to our exclusive resume database. Every Career Fair employer receives a 1-day table at the Employment Center, making interviewing candidates at JMM easy and accessible.

The fee for a table at the Career Fair is $750. Each table is 6'.

  • Talented, energetic, in-training and practicing mathematical scientists
  • Opportunities to ask for resumes and distribute business cards and other information
  • A centrally-located, turnkey venue in the exhibit area
  • Traffic from the anticipated 6,000 JMM attendees

Support

Our work is funded in part by a generous gift from Philippe and Claire-Lise Tondeur. Philippe Tondeur has long worked to connect rising mathematicians with BEGIN career opportunities and we are pleased to use his support in conjunction with SIAM, MAA, ASA, and other participants of the BIG Math Network which coordinates these activities.
