The objective of this paper is to establish certain necessary and sufficient conditions for amulti-scaling function φ := (φ₁,…, φ_r)^Tto have polynomial reproduction (p. r.) of ordermin terms of the eigenvalues and their corresponding eigenvectors of twofinitematrices.
