Abstract

Consider the neutral differential equation with positive and negative coefficients ddt[x(t) − R(t)x(t − r)] + P(t)x(t − τ) − Q(t)x(t − δ) = 0, where P, Q, RC[(t0, ∞), R+], r ∈ (0, ∞), and τ, δ ∈ R+. We obtain some new sufficient conditions for the oscillation of solutions of the above equation without the restriction t0 [P(s) − Q(s − τ + δ)] ds = ∞.
