A probabilistic principle and generalized Schrödinger perturbation

Abstract

We present a probabilistic principle: for an additive functional of certain Markov processes, its smallness with time is equivalent to its smalness with space, and apply it to a perturbation problem for relativistic Schrödinger operators.
