Abstract:
Here we extend the notion of the Kobayashi metric from complex manifolds to holomorphic foliations of smooth manifolds. This gives a notion of a hyperbolic foliation. We prove that a hyperbolic foliation of a compact manifold is compact and Hausdorff.References
