Abstract:

A natural extension of the closed unbounded filter is introduced. This extension coincides with the closed unbounded filter on uncountable, regular cardinals $\kappa$, but in general does not for ${P_k}\lambda$ and ${\left [ \lambda \right ]^\kappa }$.
