The Fifth International School-Seminar "NONLINEAR ANALYSIS AND EXTREMAL PROBLEMS”—2016

The aim of the school-seminar is to introduce young researchers to some topics of current research in the fields of: $\bullet $ nonlinear analysis and its applications; $\bullet $ dynamical systems; $\bullet $ evolution equations and partial differential equations; $\bullet $ calculus of variations and optimal control. The main part of the school-seminar will consist of series of lectures by leading scientists (P. Krejci (Czech Republic), A. Cellina (Italy), A. Dontchev (USA), G. Akagi (Japan)) in the above fields, and the rest of the time will be devoted to short talks of other participants. The working languages of the school-seminar are Russian and English. The city of Irkutsk, the venue of the conference, is one of the oldest cities in Siberia which has many interesting tourist attractions. It is located in an immediate vicinity of the famous lake Baikal. A one day trip to the lake will be also organized.
