Integrable Systems and Geometry at the XXXVth Workshop on Geometric Methods in Physics (WGMP)

June 26, 2016 - July 9, 2016

Bialowieza, Poland

A special session on Integrable Systems and Geometry will take place as part of the XXXVth Workshop on Geometric Methods in Physics, Bialowieza, Poland, June 26 - July 2, 2016. There will be a follow-up summer School on Physics and Geometry, July 4 - July 9, 2016. See wgmp.uwb.edu.pl. Areas of interest at the Workshop range from algebraic geometry to representations of infinite-dimensional Lie groups to symplectic Poisson and noncommutative geometry. Plenary speakers include E. Previato, C. Roger, C. Tracy, and V. Zakharov. Session organizers are: Gerald Goldin, Alexander Odesski, Emma Previato, Ekaterina Shemyakova, and Theodore Voronov. The National Science Foundation, under grant DMS1609812, will partly support (travel, fees) some US-affiliated participants of the special session: to apply, please contact Prof. Emma Previato at ep@math.bu.edu or Prof. Ekaterina Shemyakova at shemyake@newpaltz.edu
