Computational Methods in Applied Mathematics (CMAM-7), 100 years of the Galerkin Method

Celebrating 100 years of Petrov-Galerkin method, the CMAM-7 conference will be held at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, in July 31–August 6, 2016. The Conference is organized under the aegis of the de Gruyter journal Computational Methods in Applied Mathematics (CMAM) and will be focused on various aspects of mathematical modeling and numerical methods for problems arising in natural sciences and engineering. The CMAM-7 conference is organized by the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, and the Steklov Institute of Mathematics, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg, Russia. The list of confirmed invited speakers includes Carsten Carstensen, Roland Glowinski, Boris Khoromskij, Yuri Kuznetsov, Raytcho Lazarov, Markus Melenk, Roderick Melnik, Stefan Sauter, Rolf Stenberg, Ragnar Winther, Jun Zou.
