"Time and Emotion": Review of the play God and Stephen Hawking. Reviewed by Jeremy Kingston. The London Times art section, 5 September 2000, page 20.

"As the title God and Stephen Hawking implies, this is heady stuff," the review begins. The play, written by Robin Hawdon, mixes science and biography with fantasy episodes in which Hawking converses with God. The reviewer found that the play gave him a better understanding of certain scientific concepts, such as black holes. Less satisfying was the character of God, whose approach to the conversations with Hawking, the reviewer writes, are "shot through with flippancy." The reviewer saw a touring production at the Oxford Playhouse in England.
