This brief item discusses a web site called "Treasure Troves of Science," founded by astronomer Eric Weisstein. The centerpiece of the site is MathWorld, "which offers definitions, diagrams, and references for nearly 10,000 terms." There are also brief biographies of more than 1,000 scientists. [Math Digest was informed that the MathWorld site has been temporarily shut down due to a copyright issue.]
