"Down to Earth with a Bump": Review of Isaac Newton, by James Gleick. Reviewed by Graham Farmelo. New Scientist, 19 July 2003, page 50.
This new biography of Isaac Newton is written by the author of the best-selling Chaos: Making a New Science and is based in large part on his study of primary sources. "For my money this is Gleick's best book, and without question the finest short life of science's most perplexing figure," the reviewer writes.
