For the fourth year, the American Mathematical Society and the Mathematical Association of America offered and significantly subsidized childcare services at the Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM). At the meetings in San Diego fourteen families--more than ever before--used the service. The childcare was offered to parents through KiddieCorp, an organization that has been providing high quality programs for children of all ages at meetings throughout the U.S. and Canada since 1986.

Parents who registered as participants at JMM took their children for a fun few days and were able to enjoy the meeting. While attendees were in sessions KiddieCorp engaged the children in popular tried and true games and activities including arts & crafts, music & movement, board games, story time, and dramatic play. The program offered theme activities for the older children.
