Erdős Memorial Lecture: The Erdős Memorial Lecture Lecture will be given by Lauren K. Williams, University of California, Berkeley, at 5:15 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2019 in B10, Ingraham Hall. The title of the talk is Probability and combinatorics: hopping particles and Macdonald polynomials.

Reception: The university will host a reception on Saturday, September 14th from 6:45-8:00 pm following the Erdős Memorial Lecture. The reception will be held at Gordon Dining and Event Center, 770 W. Dayton Street.

AMS BIG Career Development and Job Search Workshop: In conjunction with its Fall Central Sectional Meeting, the American Mathematical Society is hosting a career-development and job-search event for graduate students and others who want to know more about careers and jobs in business, entrepreneurship, industry, government, and nonprofits (“BIG”) on Friday, September 13 from 5:30-8:30 pm.
