According to this brief review, this book "is mainly concerned with debunkingthe Platonist account of mathematics," which the author describes as the viewthat "numbers exist indepndently in some objective sense." The reviewer saysthat the best parts of the book are the discussions from the history ofmathematics and science, and "the weakest parts are [the author's] arguments."
