The Emmy Noether Lectures honor women who have made fundamental and sustained contributions to the mathematical sciences. These one-hour expository lectures are presented at the Joint Mathematics Meetings each January. A letter of nomination should include a one page outline of the nominee's contribution to mathematics, giving four of her most important papers and other relevant information.
