Midwest Women in Mathematics Symposium

Calls for Applications / Graduate students, Postdocs/early career, Mathematical scientists/faculty

The main goals of the Symposium are to (1) recognize the mathematical contributions of female mathematicians in the Midwest and (2) to foster collaborations and networking while providing a comfortable environment for younger mathematicians and graduate students to ask questions and obtain mentoring from more experienced female mathematicians. The conference will feature two plenary speakers and 15 invited lectures. Applications are welcome for shorter presentations (see website for more details). The conference will span the areas of pure and applied analysis, including numerical analysis, as well as geometry and topology. The conference is supported by the National Science Foundation. Applications for financial support are also welcome.
