Graduate Student Travel Grants - Fall Sectionals

Grants / Graduate students

The AMS, with funding from a private gift, will be accepting applications for partial travel support for doctoral students (at North American institutions) who plan to attend one of the Fall, 2018, AMS Sectional Meetings.

Each grant, if awarded, will provide $250 in partial support of attendance at one of the following fall, 2018 Sectional Meetings:

September 29-30, 2018, University of Delaware, Newark, DE
October 20-21, 2018, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI
October 27-28, 2018, San Francisco State University, San Francisco, CA
November 3-4, 2018, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR

It is the intention of the AMS to encourage each student's home institution to match the funds provided in support of the travel. Applications will be accepted only from doctoral students in mathematics. No person may receive a sectional meeting travel grant more than once.
