Abstract:

We give a geometric characterization of the sets $E\subset \mathbb {R}$ for which every quasisymmetric embedding $f: E \to \mathbb {R}^n$ extends to a quasisymmetric embedding $f:\mathbb {R}\to \mathbb {R}^N$ for some $N\geq n$.
