Pseudocompact spaces and functionally determined uniformities

Abstract:
A topological space is pseudocompact if and only if every admissible uniformity is functionally determined. We construct, on the discrete countable space $N$, an admissible (pseudo)-metric uniformity which is not functionally determined.References
