Abstract:
We point out how suitable algebraic -valued groups (in the sense of Buchstaber) give rise, in a reasonably canonical manner, to algebraic groups. This is proved using the ``group configuration theorem'' of Hrushovski. In particular this applies to all algebraic -valued groups.
