Mathematics projects done by high school seniors won three of the top four prizes in the recent Intel Science Talent Search. Gorman lists the top ten winners and their projects in this article. The winners in the top ten with math projects were: Nathaniel Craig of Sacramento, second place, Gabriel Carroll of Oakland, third, and Alan Dunn of Potomac, Maryland, fourth. The three students earned scholarships of US$75,000, US$50,000, and US$25,000, respectively.
