Abstract:

The $r$ modulus of continuity for $f \in C({R^n})$ is expressed in terms of $r$ moduli of continuity in $n$ independent directions. Generalizations to other spaces of functions on ${R^n}$ or $D \subset {R^n}$ are also given.
