11. Henry Burchard Fine

Fine spent his career at Princeton, where he was mainly devoted to teaching, administration, and the logical exposition of elementary mathematics. During the period he served as AMS president he was also dean of the departments of science at Princeton University (Princeton, New Jersey), and later the chair of a campaign that raised millions of dollars for science research at the institution. Fine Hall is home of Princeton University's Department of Mathematics and Department of Statistics.
