Arnold Ross Lectures are presented annually to mathematically talented high school students, and are supported by this endowed fund. Named for esteemed scholar and educator Arnold E. Ross (1906-2002), the talks are presented by outstanding mathematicians.

In 1996, Dr. Paul J. Sally, Jr. (1933-2013), also a respected scholar and teacher, established an endowed fund at the AMS to support the popular lectures in perpetuity.
