AMS Submits Testimony Supporting NSF

AMS President, Ken Ribet, and AMS Director of Government Relations, Karen Saxe, provided written testimony to the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies regarding FY2019 appropriations for the National Science Foundation (NSF). The NSF is the only federal agency that supports research and education across all fields of science, engineering and mathematics. Ribet and Saxe wrote about the need for adequate, dependable federal support for the NSF in order for the U.S. to remain the global leader in high level scientific research. Full text of testimony
