Abstract:

If A is a closed two-sided ideal in the ${B^\ast }$-algebra X, then ${(X,{\beta _A})^\ast }$ with the strong topology is isomorphic to ${A^\ast }$, where ${\beta _A}$ is the strict topology on X.
