Abstract:

A perfectly normal, locally compact, collectionwise-${T_2}$, noncollectionwise normal space is constructed using ${\diamondsuit ^*}$, a combinatorial axiom which holds in Gödel’s constructible universe $L$. The construction answers questions of ${\text {F}}$. Tall and S. Watson.
