Abstract:
We give a new estimate on the maximal Bochner-Riesz operator in the plane, for $p<2$; as a corollary we obtain an almost everywhere convergence result for certain Bochner-Riesz means. This work was inspired by discussions with Michael Christ and Chris Sogge.References
