Introduction to Abstract Algebra

A textbook suitable for a two-semester course on Abstract Algebra,
accessible to first year graduate students and advanced undergraduate
students in mathematics. The goal is to lay a solid foundation for
future study of algebraic topics. Chapter one contains a review of the
necessary background material. The next six chapters contain a solid
introduction to group theory, ring theory, linear algebra, fields as well as a
brief introduction to the ideal class group of a Dedekind domain.
